Vet Design Services helps our clients navigate the process from vision to build, whether you are updating a 1,500 square foot clinic or designing and building a new 20,000 square foot specialty center. Our partner architects, designers and contractors work with you to explore the best options for your budgets, timelines and anticipated growth. Because we have had experience on the residential design side, we bring a unique warmth and approachability to your practices, which otherwise could feel austere and sterile.

ABOUT OUR CEO
BRIAN UPP
Brian started his design career in San Francisco where he worked on national event design and production, residential and commercial design projects from coast to coast, as well as a recurring guest designer role on HGTV’s Curb Appeal. Personal and work life merged for Brian when his life partner (Shawn McVey) introduced him to veterinary hospitals in need of his expertise.
In the past decade Brian has incorporated veterinary hospital design work into his portfolio. His work is varied and diverse; from small spruce ups to complete overhaul and redesign, from space planning to new construction. Because of his initial focus on residential projects, Brian’s hospital designs have a warm and inviting feel, in what could otherwise be austere and clinical spaces.
